Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the ambiance and quality of the produce were excellent, there were issues with bland and un-imaginative sides. The staff, though friendly, lacked experience and knowledge. A missed opportunity for a memorable dining experience.

The inconsistency at this restaurant, The Restaurant, has led to my decision to not return after about 20 years. Rubbery pigeon followed by rubbery lamb exemplifies the issues. While there are moments of excellence, they are overshadowed by frequent disappointments.

Wow! The food, service, and ambience were all exceptional. The welcoming waitress and amazing presentation exceeded expectations, especially considering doubts about the Indian taste. The dessert, Mango Passion fruit crème brûlée, was the best ever tasted.
